Therese Perreault
Director
Creative entrepreneur, photographer, teaching artist, arts management consultant, and community activist: Therese has more than 25 years’ experience connecting the arts, business/organizational skills and people savvy. She has the expertise to initiate creative projects and steer them to completion. A community artist working in photography, digital storytelling and career development for artists, she started the Community Storytelling Arts studio in April 2008. The intersection of words, images, art and business has been her goal; she offers workshops for teens and adults. Therese hails from Massachusetts, where she was the economic director at Wellspring House, Inc., a social justice organization that ran successful educational programs for micro-entrepreneurs, predominately artists. She was a founding member of SeArts, a collaborative of artists and cultural organizations on Cape Ann, Mass. She also was the director of marketing and customer service and the director of programming and production at the Massachusetts Corporation of Educational Telecommunications, an interactive educational television network. Therese holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern Maine and a Master’s degree in business administration from Simmons College Graduate School of Management in Boston. Her solo photography exhibits have appeared in London, Boston, Portland, Maine and Tucson.
